The Cincinnati Bearcats and the Texas Longhorns will meet in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday afternoon in Nashville Tennessee. The Bearcats enter the game as the 6th-seeded team in the East region, while Texas is the No. 11 seed.

Cincinnati and Texas will be the first game of the day on Friday with the winner advancing to Sunday's third round game against either Florida State or St. Bonaventure.
The Bearcats are coming off of a Big East championship game appearance having knocked off top seeded Syracuse in a surprise upset this past weekend. The Longhorns narrowly made the field as the sixth Big 12 Conference representative after spending the majority of the season classified as a bubble team. A win over Iowa State in the Big 12 Tournament likely clinched the Longhorns spot.
